While the market is different the principle is the same. Do you really think the noise level increased because RSI moved above 80? Was the serge in the noise level due to two moving averages crossing over? Please.

The market is an auction. That includes the forex market. In forex, we do not have the ticker (tape)-time and sells. Yet we can read the chart (tape) using price action and volume. As small retail traders, we start the game at a disadvantage. Relying on static indicators to trade a dynamic dual action only exacerbates the disadvantage.

but a person can still use indicators and trade profitably.

i don't think a retail trader has a disadvantage at all.

the disadvantage would be from the individual since they don't have a trading strategy.

An indicator is a different way of looking at price, that's all.

i can trade with indicators and i can trade without indicators.

as long as a trader is making the profit they desire, who cares how they make it? It doesn't matter.

Because i'm a intraday player and also BB trader.. I vote for BB.. The secret of BB is you can find exit target for the short term or long term trend.

For separate stocks i use moving averages.
I also like stock with the whole market. Price strength and so RSI are important.
