Let’s have a look at the daily20pip.com (D20P) results since DEC 2006 till AUG 2008

winning days=215
losing days=109
no touched orders days =115

So, 324 trading days, 115 no trading days (no touched orders), 215 winning days… and this is a significant statistic sample.

Winning probability W= winning days/trading days= 0,664
Win/Loss average ratio R = 20 pips/30 pips = 0,667

Let’s now consider a couple of significant indicators used in Money Management:

Kelly’s formula:
K = W - ((1-W) / R) = 0,159 ---> 15,9 %

It represents the size of the position you should be taking for a trade (as capital risk). Money Management guru’s suggest to take 5% at maximum (for aggressive personalities), so, that result has only the scope to indicate us that D20P is a low risk system

Math expectation:
M = W*R - (1-W) = 0,106 ---> POSITIVE!

meaning: positive result means D20P gives positive returns in the long run. (Just to be clear for the casinò roulette M is negative……)

Interesting strategy, has it been tested on anything apart from cable ?

I just only focus on Cable, but, some friend on daily20pip forum have succesfully tried on another pair like EUR/USD, here my trading result last night

Thought this system only ran from 7 am gmt till 5 pm gmt ?

Last night at 12.40 am gmt cable was in or around 1.9750 -1.9760 area yet u closed your trade at that time at 1.9724 ?

And i assume when one order is activated it cancels the other ?

Hello atomised, let me make this clea, my trading last night was closed at around 1:00 pm GMT , and that was 4 hours before the last order may placed with in this strategy (at 5pm GMT)

This strategy use Set and Forget order, once you order set, let it choose it's own finish line, on Takeprofit or Stop Loss, and you may open only one position per day. that what make this strategy simple and less of stress,
while you order placed, you can continued your daily activity and you don't need to staring the computer screen for whole day. just set and forget

Ok i get it now but.......why didn't u take the sell trade today at 19729, it easily would've made 20 pips ? Thought with this system u set up the buy and sell trades and then use a OCO order ?

unlike other free signal provider who give you two position, BUY and SELL, we are just give one position, but it done with analysis and research. it does give you dicipline trading too.
we don't say wow, today the buy order not trigered, then let's going sell and make new trader believe that we use good forecast. that's not trading, it just gambling. the signal generator are generate BUY and SELL position, but we just take one trade per day. just follow the rules how to use it.
to be succesfull trader we have to PLAN THE TRADE AND TRADE THE PLAN, my daily signal are my trading plan, so I have to stick with it

Hey, I just realize this little toys have succesfully beat the mighty "Non farm payroll day" 4 times in a row since JAN 2007 till' last friday 6 APRIL 2007 with just simple strategy

Has this system being tested using a 30 pip profit target, least that way your stop is equal to your profit target rather than your stop being greater than your profit target ?

I have test it with 30 as TP, and the winning chance are worst than 20, but maybe you can make yours own test too, some trader friends say they succesfully use 30 TP with euro/usd, but I have no experience with that, the olnly way to know just make live test (on demo), and don't believe backtest,
