HI,

system has just done the following :

SELL USD/CHF @ 1.3093 with stop/reverse @ 1.3133 and take profit @ 1.3053

BUY EUR/USD @ 1.1736 with stop reverse at 1.1696 and take profit at 1.1776

note : all prices (from now on) are real prices but be careful with your broker's hungry dealers, since they usually eat stops even if the price just only gets close to the level you have it... for references, use Saxo Bank data.

Can you please give the EST (New York) time of your recommendation when you post it. The Moneytec time appears to be 15 - 20 minutes out.

Another question-

If you recommend shorting CHF at 1.3093 (like in this case) but by the time I look at it it retraced to 1.3098 - do I enter at 1.3098, or do I wait for it to go south again through 1.3093?

Sold EUR/USD @ 1.1696 with stop loss @ 1.1736

Hi again,

we're closing eur short at 1.0666 (+30 pip) and chf long at 1.3170 (+37 pip). When there is no limit price trades are left open till they are closed, as it happened this time. Trades are intraday so at the end of NY session I'm surely out of the market.

Today's overall result :

Euro : lost 40 pips first trade won 30 in the second : -10 pips

Chf : lost 40 pips first trade won 37 in the second : -3 pips

1. There is no need to clutter the forum with new threads, so if I have any questions or comments about your recommendation I’ll post them in the original thread - unless the MoneyTec management tell me otherwise.

2. This is a public forum, so it benefits all members to discuss and clarify issues in public – why use e-mail?

3. Your 2nd USD/CHF trade was as follows: Bought @ 1.3133 with stop loss @ 1.3094. Then you claim a profit of +37 when closing @ 1.3170. However, USD/CHF went down to 1.3081 before you could close @ 1.3170. Did you remove your stop loss and suffer through a 52 pip draw-down to take +37 pips in the end?

I agree with Forex1 - we should discuss posts publicly for the benefit of everyone, and also so we can all assess the veracity or otherwise of postings, by checking out the facts independently.
