Although we are not trading USD JPY, I checked out the daily charts for some hints, looks like USD JPY will reverse pretty soon, please see the attachement! This might confirm topping action we see on EUR USD now.

previously posted 4 hour chart actually goes well with this 15minute falling flag pattern, clearly visible on GBP JPY, so maybe, there is further upside.

I will look for reversal on USD JPY first, to confirm a decent LONG entry on GBP JPY though.

Update DJI:

follow up on post #28 - so far DJI is up almost 700 points. Definately more upside is available. But position traders may fix profits now.

Ok, can't skip this one update, Im now good to post occasional updates, we have been moving office and so Ive been really busy at the office, however this one opportunity looks good to me for a decent pip-profit.

GBP USD setup

based on EUR USD 6th march - 17th march PH CYCLE. (cycles exist of FX markets and are common trading techniques for large insitutional funds)

Believe it or not, you can see for yourself, here are some future cycle points on EUR USD in 2008:

March - 6th and 17ths 29ths
April - 9ths 21st
May - 3rd 14ths 25th
June - 6ths 18ths 29ths
July - 10ths 22nd

While there are other more complex methods (gann astology) they are very time-consuming and give you only 50% accurate forecasts most of the time.

Cycles are good for measuring currency strength/weakness in time and allows to pinpoint reversals and possible highs/lows. Practically, paired up with conventional TA (no MAs nonsense) this can give traders an edge on the markets.
