Update on spot gold post #32

Spot gold did in fact drop a more than decent 28 dollars, as expected. Now this just shows how precise zoning tools could be.

I maintain that spot gold will trade lower now, and advise to look for better opportunities to get in for a LONG ride up and ahead of 1000 mark.

Also, here are trading zones for the next week.

BUY2 zone looks very promising to reinitiate long setups, however please wait and see if GOLD reverses in this zone and watch for clear reversal signs (pin bars on hourly for instance). If you decide to go LONG in this zone place your SL at 950 and TP at 990.

SILVER UPDATE

There is a valid reversal on daily charts on silver, so expect some mid-term weakness and return to levels of 17.6. Break below will see this item drop further to level of 14.

The zone worth watching this year is 19-21, break above 21 will open further upside capped at 34-40, but slim chance.

GBP JPY SETUP 30 min

Here's a potentially great setup on pound cross 30min chart (wrong label).

As we speak a nice pin bar is in formation at a key resistance level, so this looks like a decent price to SHORT it. If I was to take it I would trade it a swing trade - SL at previous highs at TP at approx +200 pips from current levels (204.30-60).

EUR CAD trade didn't work out as expected and went against us for a loss of approx 100 pips.

Meanwhile, I want to still remain focused on GBP USD EUR USD and spot gold, although GBP JPY presents better opportunities. I will continue researching yen crosses, if you scroll back to my 2006 posts, you will find that I had some very nice trades on yen crosses back then.

GBP JPY update

Ok, here the SL was hit for approx 60 pips with SL at previous max, however, now is a good idea to attempt some more brief shorts. This looks like the GBP JPY is reversing from the downtrend and trading above weekly balance point, which is

GBP USD update

here's a 4 hour chart with a nice bearish pattern on it. Get in for a TP at 4/8 line (+200 pips from current levels) and SL at recent high. This will be a good ride!

Meanwhile, I expect USD JPY to reach 104 level soon, maybe even this week.
JPY crosses will retrace and trade higher soon, EUR JPY GBP JPY bearish trend will reverse. EUR CAD uptrend will terminate VERY soon and the item will definately trade lower, I will post zones for EUR JPY GBP JPY EUR CAD soon (maybe today). This zones will help position/swing traders place TP and SL accordingly.

EUR CAD 4 hour update

There is a valid reversal pattern on 4 hour charts as well as a reversal pin bar, last time around a trade went the other way, HOWEVER this time around we can pull approx 200+ pips on this one. Place protective SL at recent high 5366 TP + 200. Lets see how this goes.

EUR USD GBP JPY EUR JPY EUR CAD weekly zones

Wait for a currency to reach one of the zones and look for a reversal signal on at least H1 / prefferably H4 chart (pin bar, TD sequential, major sup/res trendline, reversal pattern), then initiate a trade. This zones are a great aid in trading.
