Active Asian Session carries Eur/Usd to New High at 1.2112.....10 minutes later Price drops to 1.2075.

Current 1.2080.

Do you mind if I ask which technique you use in your time study.

On the counsel of a seasoned and wise trader, I have been doing a somewhat in-depth study over the past couple of weeks and am curious as to which "school" you have chosen.

Nice reversal South from 1.2158<>1.2029.......to North 1.2029<>current 1.2115...hope others caught it too. Large Price gyrations not indicative of continuation....Buy/Sell equilibriums being challenged.....If current New High 1.2158 is not challenged...with a lower Top being set at 1.2130/50....test of 1.20 to ensue. Looking for more South entries in 1.2120/45 basis.

A fair assessment Iris. A slow march North means continuation.
Extreme volatility can mean reversal.

Small target trend trades with psychologically artificial stops get the beans kicked out of them during this fast back and forth volatility that often spells reversal. This happens both in wave 4 retraces and wave 5 capitulation impulse wave. This is why in my opinion it important to be able to identify wave 4's and wave 5's and trade them for what they are; otherwise stay away from wave 4 and 5's.
