Cat in all fairness you should post a call, even if it’s off market, i.e. buy on dips to x.xxxx.

When someone runs up a large deficit of pips then it is only natural that some criticism is due. Trading is not a game for the faint hearted.

These people are now trading defensively so they have the follow options

1. Make matters worse
2. Attempt to recover some of their losses

The way things are going, it seems option 1 is the likely outcome.

If ya is going to be in the lime light, ya better have some tuff skin.

Iris has been around here for a long time, and I imagine that he’ll be here a long time after, this isn’t the first major draw down period that he has gone through. So if a bashing on these threads is the worst someone has to endure, well “sticks and stones.” And it should re-enfore to everyone about who’s is ultimately responsible for one’s trades, the one who stares back at you in the mirror.

Iris’ style works for Iris, I would have to agree on the fact that trade management and the placement of stops and are not given enough attention for my taste. Some trades have been posted for stops of no gain and such when the thread has no updates showing those levels. I have made this known in the past, but I do not dispute the veracity of the calls, only that they should have been posted.

But I will agree with Iris that those that are willing to publicly denounce his trading style will not post their own. If you are going to tell me I’m wrong, please show me what’s right. If it’s my trade management, show me the right way to trade it, stop level wrong? Where should I put it? If my call is wrong, what should it be?

There’s only the negative, and nothing to learn from it.

And just to make matters worse, any one short Cable that had their stops sitting just over the 2.06 level, just had them ran easy pickin's, price currently 2.0619

We were in Cable Buy's off the 2.0060 Lows and Exited @ 2.0225 and very early on this advance onto the current 2.0548 High...to begin building a Sell Position with current Sell Entries @ 2.0226<>2.0228<>2.0230<>2.0245<>2.0255<>2.0315 and 2.0340 and another Sell just activated @ 2.0505 with a Final Sell @ 2.0520 yet to be activated as the initial series of Cable Buy's profited nicely into Exits with the current drawdown being taken into context of the overall Cable Buy's into Exits into current Cable Sell Positions...and tho the hedging of Cable was stipulated above for those Pro's/MM/INST.who are inclined...we will go with just the current Posted Sell Positions to maintain transparency.

From the 9/7/07 post on the Optimal Usd/Cad Buy Zone that we awaited to be activated...which was achieved in early London Session today...

We have a Usd/Cad Buy Zone forming @ 1.0405<>1.0425 off a Weekly 618 Fractal...with Time to assess and Position this Buy Zone with a current Low @ 1.0444...

Usd/Cad Buy Zone @ 1.0405<>1.0425...

Target ...Open.

Let's see if our Canadian Buy Zone is activated.

The Usd/Cad Buy Zone @ 1.0405<>1.0425 is activated with a current Low @ 1.0401...

Usd/Cad Buy's @ 1.0405<>1.0410<>1.0418 are activated...Key advance break @ 1.0485<>1.0525 onto 1.0550<>1.0600 Zone.

The Canadian still has a current Low @ 1.0401 as we had waited for 2 weeks for this potential Optimal Usd/Cad Buy Zone @ 1.0405<>1.0425 to develop and activate our Positions which was achieved over 48HRS ago as we flucuated inside this Buy Zone to advance to a current High @ 1.0443.

Key advance break @ 1.0450<>1.0485 heading North onto 1.0525<>1.0550 Zone.

Our Usd/Cad Buy's are out of the Entry Zone with tests @ 1.0500 initially and 1.0465 currently as we are in the Support build in the Canadian @ 1.0450<>1.0485 Zone for the next Key advance onto 1.0525<>1.0550 Zone for tests @ 1.0600.

Was just wondering what kind of reversal are you eyeing at?

A major one, i.e. 2.0000 -> 1.9600 -> 1.8500?
A minor one, i.e. 2.0350 -> 2.0000?

Iris,

After ~100 pips in loss, there should have been SL or hedge, size could vary, but these last few calls have become ridiculous, I have no idea whats the fun in pulling it on and on, of course everyone in this world is looking forward to a fall which may carry on and on for a good time, but this is no way of trading.

I have appreciated you when you do good job but this is a wrong way of trading FX. I don't have any hard or good feelings here for anyone, I'm just trying to give my neutral opinion.

Wish all fella members here loads of points and thus success.
