I got disappointed by the pull back,, As I was expecting it to faster and deeper.

Current price at 1.9575... Closing trade/Locking profits

Godmorning everyone

Today we have retailsales for april @ 12.30

Eur/usd is in a north move but need a break of last weeks high to progress 5569<>93 is the key but i believe in a drop to 5488<>40 before the break of that so buy dip is my way today

Gbp/usd broke below support @ 9554 and with that i buy dip down to 9550<>9441

Jpy/usd is in a north move and a break of 104.02 will boost the upside with targets @ 104.55<>92 - 105.58 in extention (last wenstays high)

I took 5400 long as it price retraced nicely to 38% of the daily pin bar from Thursday. I would have entered closer to that level if I could but wasnt at the desk. There was no such retracement on Friday (only 96 pip range) so many were expecting a retracement and saw it as a buy signal. I exited at 5550 as I am not convinced that price will go further back up yet. 5590 levels are key at the time though.

In fact I am expecting more consolidation and ranging for about a trading week. Price may edge higher but it seems to me we will have an upward sloping range(56&5700/52&3000ish) for a few more days.

Beyond hat we will trade the signals, but so far I read wave 5 as completed and will expect USD comeback.

EUR USD 5560-5580 strong resistance area, which is another good reason to short sell with a tight SL.

Breakout for new highs is 5569 today and with day overbought we can se more south if 5569 holds and 5487 breaks so be a little bit carefull today and buy/sell breakouts

Usd/Jpy provides more clue on where the next directional move on US Dollar will be. Which appears to be south.

I am holding shorts on the US dollar this week,, with a Buy position on Gbp/Usd at 1.9490. with stoploss at 1.9420... Target 150 pips.
