Re: Sell Eur/Usd

Noor,

There's no right or wrong way to chart, only what works for you. Yep I studied in detail arcs, parabola's, ellipses..... and i drag them out on occasion. Jenkins showed a way to chart the acceleration arc of a steep impulse or blow off ( you've heard the expression when price goes parabolic?) that's very good at capturing the end and time for the correction.

They are just tools, biggest problem is knowing when not just how to use em.

A very wise Trader once told me, Nothing walks through the forest in a straight line, else he suffers a bad head ache.

fwiw,

Why make in so complicated anyway? There are some other fellas that say that market is a 3-dimensional structure. Ok, I can see price, time, what's the 3rd dimension anyway? lol

Just a thought that I have had for a long time, but I haven't the time or resources to study, but what if the market is 3-D.

We view the chart as a 2-D flat panel, but just what if we could chart it in 3-D with depth then channel structures would look something like this.

The better representation would look like a tube containing price moving in and out and would look like a cone as it narrows when moving away or starting from a point and moving towards the screen, and probably moving in something similar to a sine wave.

If we can figure the equation of a curved line that measures the support or resistance of a move, but it may need to be written in an x,y,z axis form

fwiw, the musing of a lunatic bear.

Re: Sell Eur/Usd

Here's just the fib arc tool from mt4, i changed the scale to 11.00 so it would match, but this should give a close look.

time to run.

Mr Bear, in no way you are a lunatic in my book, it's just that researching advanced methods (astro and gann) can consume a lifetime and you might crack it, when you are, say 50 y.o., who needs the $$$ then?

There is nothing great about square9, pyramids, etc etc. Definately interesting material for a read, but that's about it.

Re: Sell Eur/Usd

Since we are on the subject of arcs and ellipses, lets try to trade one.

Small size, (were scalping against the move) short 5797 and target the bottom arc, about 80 pips or so. Lets put a stop at around 5830.

this will need adjustment, once we break south of the wedge and wait for a quick retest, we will move stops
