SFX yes i see what u mean i should have posted the 4 hr chart like the one below which shows lovely divergence over a longer time frame. so am i right in thinking when your first entering a position your looking for divergence over longer time frames not just like the 5 min 30 min divergences i posted ?
Sometimes Atmoized. Depends. Gotta get to work write back later. JUst decided to take profits in EUR CHF here at 2805 2355 wait to reposition. Still short GBP though...though the 50 is sometimes a signifcant bouncing off point.
taking gbp profits here for the day. now im really off to work. Any adventurous might want to take a teeny tiny long GBP daytrade. I'm just going to stick with the CHF short for now though...but the long cable is tempting. To the Batmobile!
Alright I made it to work. Looks like a little more continuation in EUR GBP south. I'm taking profit in long CAD just for a few hours in case of a drop. I'm guessing she'll pullback a bit or consolidate before heading northward again so I'd rather not give anything up.
As far as money management mosad I don't really have anything concrete to say except that for my style it is wise to trade half the size position you are comfortable with. Unfortunately I don't always do this myself sometimes get burned. THen I go back to the safe ways watch a steady accumulation. Strange. ;-) But I don't have any set rule like "only risk 2% of your account every day except Friday if the moon is full". Nothing of that sort.
Atomized if the longer term charts are heavily showing divergence in a particular direction then I am more suspect of going against that direction on a smaller timeframe. Its tough to spell out any hard fast rules though as I just try flow with the market. Sometimes a position will last for days...sometimes a few years. All depends on how the market looks based on how I've seen it look in the past.
