I like the set up you have here. I was looking at the same pattern. What is the 235 mark you have on the chart? Is that your initial target? If the wedge develops like a "typical" wedge pattern we should this latest up move retraced considerably.

Seems like everybody except me call this pattern wedge . I call it diagonal - the c 5 wave build this pattern. On my chart break below the 4th's start point opens target to the start point of the 1st wave.

If you look back to my post #1340 I did call the pattern a diagonal which can retrace min 100% back to where it started. USDCAD had that sharp reversal retracement after touching its bottom few weeks ago.

I thought my labels in purple was a diagnoal till that little wave 3 I labeled in white. After that I kind of lost track. Do you think this can be a double diagonal inside each other can create big big reversal?

An ending diagonal is pretty much a wedge. There's no need to nit pick when it comes to name calling; it's the end result that matters. Ending diagonals often retrace to the starting point of their formation. When wedges are broken (in this case to the downside) they too will fall hard.

Either way it will be interesting to observe this movement.

G550 thank you for the clarification of the what the wedge is. I don't use such pattern but that doesn't matter in our situation. Byran the move 1.9650 is 5 wave impulse by my side this diagonal is its 5th wave (see the diagonal.bmp attachment in my previous post). Let see what will happen - I'm short 2.0350.
