B F,
Glad you made some money!
At 25 pips up, I raised my SL to breakeven and got greedy, when my system clearly told me to close the position. I fell a sleep and stopped out at breakeven.
This always happens when I think I know better than my own system!

Wink Hey Andy

Why move your stop to break even. Why not move your stop to at least cover your spread plus 5 pips. You where in a winning trade and gave all your profits back. Think about it. Not critisizing, just trying to help you realize something about your equity management.

Which would you rather do...make money for your market maker, or, make money for You and your market maker? Easy question...simple answer....Never, Never, Never give back ANY cash on a winner trade no matter how small the time frame or profit happens to be.

Do yourself a favor...next time when moving your stop, lock in at least 5 pips profit on each and every trade you enter...after all a guaranteed profit is better than break even every day and certainly better than a loss on a retracement that your equity can't and more importantly shouldn't have to tolerate.

Good Luck on Your Trades, Enjoy Riding Those Waves, And Remember We Are Our Brothers Keeper.

Take Care,
Doc
