I am going to start a new thread with my simple Elliot Wave trading system.
I am doing this so as not to clog up other threads and also as a personal diary where I can keep track of my charts, analysis and trades as I go. EW trading incorporates many other TA techniques such as trend lines, s+r levels, fib. levels, divergence etc etc. When trading EW, what I am looking for are the major waves, to trade these and to get about 50% of these moves (anywhere between 50-150 pips). As the thread progresses I will add my thoughts and the way I trade the waves so lets me begin.
PS: I am by no means an expert in EW's and am learning as I go, I have been doing this for 6 months and know that I have lots more to learn and that this thread would be a good way to continue advancing. Also my notation is not to EW standards and I hope to improve this as I go.

Entry#1 4Hr chart
End of european trading July 6.
Euro is in minute wave iv up of the larger 3 down. The previous wave iii bottom was at 1.1867 and wave iv has now corrected to 1951 but not cofirming this as the top yet a break below 1.1890 would confirm this wave iv and the start of wave v down to a target of 1.1830. Wave 4's are messy affairs at times and trade these only if you are a good scalper. Levels to watch are 1.1955 and 1.1900. In between here for scalpers only. Long above close of 1.1980 and short on close below 1.1890.

So what Marketwavez? No-one is posting about Eur right now, Captain Salesman pretty much abandoned the sinking ship once he'd fleeced a few bucks from the gullible (or was it mutiny!), but so what if someone posts about other pairs, it's all relevant? What's the big deal anyway, very few are going to benefit from anything written here.

You know, sad to say but these forums have turned into the biggest collection of half-witted, learning impaired, wannabe 'traders' on the internet, they're an embarrassment to the rest of the trading community! You could count on the fingers of one hand the people who are either making money or have the potential to make money!

Dick measuring? Dick swinging? You bet, this game is all about making money, it's the measure of one's success.

I'm outta these forums, there's very little left here worth salvaging......

I agree the only ppl on the forum are cons taking money from the dumb, and then their is the .01 percent that are real traders and they mostly read and never post.... This place is really SAD...

C' mon Mick....its not like there is enough going on to even warrant any posts from Surfer. And these forums have always been like you described as far as I can see. There are a few who are good, and the rest are just trying to learn.

Hi all,

I think MW got the right idea and tried to stop the non-euro analysis, this thread was started so that we could share EW analysis on the eur/usd pair and its cousin the usd/chf.

I haven't abandoned the thread, the problem with concentrating on just one pair is when its in a small range nothing new can be written. I have not been posting for that sole reason, nothing more and nothing less.

Lets see if tomorrow gives us any signs of a breakout.

It seems that eur/usd is the one that abandoned to be a major pair with this daily small range, since the begining of this week it is sticking to a certain area and doesn't want to leave it, as if it has now a fixed price, and it became abnormal for this pair to see it in the 1.27 area, and it became shy to stay in the 1.27 area for more than an hour, eur/us became stranger in the 1.27 area, when it reaches it, it goes back to the cave 1.2660-1.2690 area, I don't know when those tons of glue that sticked this pair in this area will finish so as to make it leave this area in peace, I will use what I've said before here in this thread, Euro you are so weak, the weak dollar is punching you on your head and you don't give any resistance, you had the chance to reach the 1.3 level the last week but you even were so shy to touch the 1.29 level, the weak dollar can easily kicks you to the 1.25 level if you kept acting negatively this way

Well ,no one was intersted in helping him,So i responded to his question .....
He has started his own thread with the Neely method whic is very difficult
and a waste of time as far as I am concerned .....
- now, Eventually has got himself banned by the moderators

I dont know why , or what he has done ......

but I went to his new thread and some else had responded in the thread
that he started and posted a small link that you can download and this
file will enable you to make a screeenshot of of you chart and make a file ...jpeg or png ....So I downloaded it, and the dam thing works like a charm !

You see why I say it is more important to help others than to trade ?.......
to go about the business of trading and not be willing to stop and help
some one should really take nothing off of your shoulders .
This is why I try to answer other peoples questions , because

Now I don't have to copy and scan ,my charts and make a file any more , so guys like Ziko come out of nowhere and tell me post the result to late like he did 2 weeks ago.
