I am going to start a new thread with my simple Elliot Wave trading system.
I am doing this so as not to clog up other threads and also as a personal diary where I can keep track of my charts, analysis and trades as I go. EW trading incorporates many other TA techniques such as trend lines, s+r levels, fib. levels, divergence etc etc. When trading EW, what I am looking for are the major waves, to trade these and to get about 50% of these moves (anywhere between 50-150 pips). As the thread progresses I will add my thoughts and the way I trade the waves so lets me begin.
PS: I am by no means an expert in EW's and am learning as I go, I have been doing this for 6 months and know that I have lots more to learn and that this thread would be a good way to continue advancing. Also my notation is not to EW standards and I hope to improve this as I go.

Entry#1 4Hr chart
End of european trading July 6.
Euro is in minute wave iv up of the larger 3 down. The previous wave iii bottom was at 1.1867 and wave iv has now corrected to 1951 but not cofirming this as the top yet a break below 1.1890 would confirm this wave iv and the start of wave v down to a target of 1.1830. Wave 4's are messy affairs at times and trade these only if you are a good scalper. Levels to watch are 1.1955 and 1.1900. In between here for scalpers only. Long above close of 1.1980 and short on close below 1.1890.

If as I suspect no free trial is offered then the alternative might be the $5 option I saw advertised, people can afford to watch for a while and satisfy themselves at that price.

From your comments you don't appear to have the knowledge and experience to know what to call both FXsurfer and Stoxx to task about, my comments weren't simply about whether to use stops or not. If and when you reach an acceptable stage in your career as a trader you will be able to look back at your posts here and realise how lacking and limited your responses really were.

I don't know u but why would i assume u r an experienced and profitable trader while u never posted a chart or a call U r referring to the owner of this thread as an unexperienced trader despite the fact that he has the most popular and widely viewed thread on moneytec whereas u call urself an experienced trader while u have nothing to support that claim. No charts...NO calls so why wouldn't i consider u an envious soul who can not stand the fact that Surfer is teaching a $2K or $5K course and that his students are happy and never complained!!! Strange isn't it ?

Again as u said an experienced trader is the only one who can point out Surfer's mistakes "if there was any" to newbies...but how would i know u r an experienced tarder

Please peteuk, we are talking about a signal service here that has been free for over 2 months now. They make calls and guide you through the trade. It is not a "lets question the calls" service. In fact, anyone that does will get a boot "through the south door" fairly quickly. I don't agree with all of the calls so I simply dont enter them, but it's not the place to "debate" them. Now, the last two months have been profitable so that's all that matters.

You missed my point about the stops. Let me put it this way - some traders are contrarian, some follow the trend, some are technical, some fundamental, some use rigid stops and some don't. It doesn't matter! The only thing that matters is that your system produces the pips, whether you have spent three years and 4 accounts to achieve it or pay someone to assist you, the goal is the same. All I can say is that the markets have been kind to me so I'm not complaining.

Now good luck to you! I don't have the time to join your debating society so I'm out of here. This is my last one on this matter!

Why not ask ole pete about his failed attempt at a teaching/signal calling service he tried to get off the ground(complete with laptop and charts). I don't remember the exact price he was hoping to get, but shortly after he announced his venture he disappeared from these forums (unless here under an alias: I do have my suspicions).

So the truth may not be too far off, it is an odd tale of someone who is in the midst of starting a business that has students who seem to be happy with their instruction (surfer) and one who could not get it done (petey).

Those of us who have been around moneytec for a while will remember....

one more thing Amyfx28 didn't take the whole courses,because we have very poor english , But Fxsurfer and Stoxx get us some for free,(maybe 20-30%)It take us a month to translate to our language,if we r good in english we take the whole courses, meybe next yrs we do the full courses.And Amy use full lot compounding make 100 time more then me, move to UK

ROFL, teaching people how to trade is a nightmare, anyone reading some of the posts here will understand why! More trouble than it's worth and anyone who can trade profitably themselves wouldn't waste their time.

Profitable trading signals alone don't make a profitable trader, I thought you would have known that, perhaps not.

The system and software (complete with laptop, no charts!) which I was going to sell a few years back is ticking away quietly making small consistent returns and like all profitable automated systems is not for sale, sorry.

It's simple, if you're thinking of paying for trading signals or a training course at least check it out for yourselves and don't simply rely on what anyone else tells you because chances are they know as much as you! Ask someone more experienced to give their opinion, a brief couple of days in the chatroom watching live calls, money management advice, entries, stops, and partial take profit levels will tell them all they need to know about how these two people trade and the prospects of long term profitability following their methods. It's better to find out sooner rather than later that your pipe dream is just that, a pipe dream.

I think that's sound advice but it's obviously up to the individual to do what they think is sensible, after all it's your money!

One day some of you will look back at your posts here and wonder how you could have been so blind to the obvious, others unfortunately won't know the difference.

If people can't have a sensible discussion what more is there to say on the subject apart from good luck!
