I am going to start a new thread with my simple Elliot Wave trading system.
I am doing this so as not to clog up other threads and also as a personal diary where I can keep track of my charts, analysis and trades as I go. EW trading incorporates many other TA techniques such as trend lines, s+r levels, fib. levels, divergence etc etc. When trading EW, what I am looking for are the major waves, to trade these and to get about 50% of these moves (anywhere between 50-150 pips). As the thread progresses I will add my thoughts and the way I trade the waves so lets me begin.
PS: I am by no means an expert in EW's and am learning as I go, I have been doing this for 6 months and know that I have lots more to learn and that this thread would be a good way to continue advancing. Also my notation is not to EW standards and I hope to improve this as I go.

Entry#1 4Hr chart
End of european trading July 6.
Euro is in minute wave iv up of the larger 3 down. The previous wave iii bottom was at 1.1867 and wave iv has now corrected to 1951 but not cofirming this as the top yet a break below 1.1890 would confirm this wave iv and the start of wave v down to a target of 1.1830. Wave 4's are messy affairs at times and trade these only if you are a good scalper. Levels to watch are 1.1955 and 1.1900. In between here for scalpers only. Long above close of 1.1980 and short on close below 1.1890.

This is a tough market right now .. need to make quick scalps the way it's zig zagging or chopping. I have a 2845-50 target and may short from there but I will see how it reacts if that target is printed.

Keep reading Hoene keep reading, because the concept of having a Dynamic reward/risk ratio like 50 to 100+ ( or higher even 200/300) to 1 is inconceivable to you. Read and think on that for a while.

The idea of being able to call tops and bottoms and with times for their reversal is impossible to you because you believe it to be. And that’s what all the self-imposed so called guru’s say because they believe it too.

Trade the trend and all that other mindset garbage leads to one place “ mediocre and fodder for the sharks“.

Reversal trading can be accomplished, It is being accomplished and I’ve seen it accomplished.

You come on these forums spouting what is and what isn’t and bashing people but I’ve yet to see you make one live call. Instead of trying to convince the readers here that you know what’s right and wrong in the world of trading with your superior knowledge found in “da magazines” why don’t you just blow us all away with some professional calls.

If Surf or any other poster here is wrong then call a trade in opposition, show the readers here what you got, and them maybe some one will listen to you. Until then don’t expect anyone to consider you any thing but an annoyance.

These idiots will not take you challenge as credible for not one of them has the balls to do so. It is much easier for them to come in here and blow their hot air than to actually make a trade call in advance with entry and stop for they would be seen as fools.

They can make all the noise they wish about being "professional traders," "I am not selling anything," "professional traders only buy dips," blah, blah, blah.
All a bunch of cliche. They want people to read this thread and think they are the big men on campus, while in fact, they are little whining idiots looking for attention.

The only scam here is their pathetic little attempts to prove they are men trying to look out for new traders or calling you out. Funny how the self imposed "watchdogs" think of themselves as the keepers of truth while they hide behind aliases and their own petty jealousy.

Now watch as they try to address this by saying I am one of your students, trying to sell something, or a new trader....They do not want to deal in facts or reality (let alone logic) they just want to build their self esteem at the cost of your thread.

The only part of this trade posted here in real-time was when price was at 1.2793 and you were long. Price now 1.2762 so that trade was stopped out.

Stoxx_forex call for a "violent up movew real late to day and going to morrow and friday" resulted in a 100 pip drop!

The range continues as posted.

BTW Surfer again stopped out twice today with a loss (at 1.2780 and 94). Why not trade against Surfer 90 procent winners.

Well folks, here is "Twit No 2" ! Hooonie says that big money buys till there are no buyers left. Of course this would mean that the big buyers would then have to either sell for a loss on their just triggered big buys or ride their losses for bigger losses. Now, let me see: A top picker sells at 1.2760 and 1.2800. The max north price goes to 1.2819. Current price is 1.2799. Price has already dropped to 1.2750 allowing the locking in of all profits necessary to cover any stoploss on remaining open positions. Yet, according to Hooonie, this top picker was crushed again with massive losses!.

Yes sir, what we have here is Twit No 1 and Twit No 2. Petoooie & Hooonie, the trade expert breakout scalpers who cannot post any of their own trades because they spend all their time bashing others who do no break out scalp.

What happens, the bigmoney pushes it north to get all the stops out of you toppickers. Surfer and followers are out. After that Stox is going long, and the bigboys are selling, he manages to breakeven with the sweat dripping beside his head. And now the next round of toppickers are beaten up.
And that;s exactly why you have to buy the dips in an uptrend, then you might be succesfull too, but i have doubts if you can do it. Once a toppicker always a toppicker. Still short ?

Currencia finally grasped the idea of trading ranges which is what I was trying to explain to him a few posts back, perhaps he went away and read up on it. But then he went and fell for the sucker punch when players try to shake out weak positions by running stops!

This is too funny for words, learn to play the game people or you'll be whipped around the market and ripped a new one like FXsurfer and his buddies, ROFL

Post 6135 (27-10-2006):

EURUSD is set to hit 1,2842 and then 1,2880-90 while holding above 1,2637 and (main) 1,2550-32. Below 1,2550-32 and holding, the way is to last lows and 1,2302 . But if we take into account what has EURUSD been doing the last 5 months, we can easily see that below 1,2500 it does not feel comfortable.

High on EURUSD so far: 1,2847 (09-11-06).
Low so far: 1,2663 (27-10-06).

Levels still alive.

It's neither foolish nor erroneous otherwise you would be only too happy to point out the error of our ways like we have yours. This is simply the way the market works and the sooner you learn it's intricacies the sooner you'll stop having to suffer loss after loss as you try to pick tops and keep getting stopped out.

And Elliotfans look at the chart, why was surfer short at 1.2780. Of course I don;t believe anymore in this stuff because i am mature (and behave like it). But if you believe in this then you have to follow the rules.

I found myself a top didn't i, LETS PICK IT.

Another thing, this is a 5wave and nobody will make me believe this is a correction, and that means a lot. Like this is not part of a wave2, its the start of wave5 on the weekly.
