I am going to start a new thread with my simple Elliot Wave trading system.
I am doing this so as not to clog up other threads and also as a personal diary where I can keep track of my charts, analysis and trades as I go. EW trading incorporates many other TA techniques such as trend lines, s+r levels, fib. levels, divergence etc etc. When trading EW, what I am looking for are the major waves, to trade these and to get about 50% of these moves (anywhere between 50-150 pips). As the thread progresses I will add my thoughts and the way I trade the waves so lets me begin.
PS: I am by no means an expert in EW's and am learning as I go, I have been doing this for 6 months and know that I have lots more to learn and that this thread would be a good way to continue advancing. Also my notation is not to EW standards and I hope to improve this as I go.

Entry#1 4Hr chart
End of european trading July 6.
Euro is in minute wave iv up of the larger 3 down. The previous wave iii bottom was at 1.1867 and wave iv has now corrected to 1951 but not cofirming this as the top yet a break below 1.1890 would confirm this wave iv and the start of wave v down to a target of 1.1830. Wave 4's are messy affairs at times and trade these only if you are a good scalper. Levels to watch are 1.1955 and 1.1900. In between here for scalpers only. Long above close of 1.1980 and short on close below 1.1890.

And Elliotfans look at the chart, why was surfer short at 1.2780. Of course I don;t believe anymore in this stuff because i am mature (and behave like it). But if you believe in this then you have to follow the rules.

Another thing, this is a 5wave and nobody will make me believe this is a correction, and that means a lot. Like this is not part of a wave2, its the start of wave5 on the weekly.

Surfer surfer, you didn;t read my last post, i showed you the call according to YOUR rules, you should make that call, not me, you get paid for it. But i can imagine if you loose 3 times in a row you don;t want to make another call. So I did it for you, with pleasure so you don;t have to thank me for it.

Come on now surely you don't need a chart to understand this post where I clearly said "buy at the bottom of the range 1.2680 and sell at the top of it 1.28, why overlook the obvious? The same with cable, 1.8960 and 1.9120". Give it a whirl, your followers will be impressed when you say it's a wave count or some supa-dupa secret indicator! Heck, you could double the price!

I was PM'd on there today by someone offering live relay when he starts charging for his signals for $5! Even for five bucks it wouldn't be worth it, watching a bunch of kids sniggering at their heros bouncing people out of the room and talking about what time they go to bed is about as entertaining as watching grass grow

Hoene...I posted this before but as i'm not sure u saw it or not i will post it again. Just take a look at the Projected C on the weekly chart. This is UBS and the target is sub 1.100!!

And finally...U don't have to eat ur shoes .

I'll be back with charts and calls when PeteUK and Hoene have stopped posting rubbish or made some calls. Currently I am long from 2758 and 2755, 4 lots originally ... 1 off at 2780 and 1 more just taken off at 1.2793 .. holding 2 lots, stop raised to 1.2765. This is a tough market right now .. need to make quick scalps the way it's zig zagging or chopping. I have a 2845-50 target and may short from there but I will see how it reacts if that target is printed.

FXS, great call. I didn't trade on this as I was going the other way ... shorting from 2792, but got out at 2765, didn't ride the way up, tho I should have.

Sure Mafioso, allthough they were like 650 pips from te top from their projected high of 1.2324, but 1.10 it really looks like it, euro has a really hard time right now !!!???

BTW Surfer stopped out again at 1.2865 (4th in a row), this guy sells baken air.

Lets just get this final bit out of the way so we can all move on. You have finally made something that looks like a call. OK, sell Eur at 1.2800 and cable at 1.9120. Your telly on your first call (as it stands at the moment) is -84 on Eur and -31 on cable, totalling to -115. Nice one!

Hi!

Post 6135 (27-10-2006):

EURUSD is set to hit 1,2842 and then 1,2880-90 while holding above 1,2637 and (main) 1,2550-32. Below 1,2550-32 and holding, the way is to last lows and 1,2302 . But if we take into account what has EURUSD been doing the last 5 months, we can easily see that below 1,2500 it does not feel comfortable.

High on EURUSD so far: 1,2900 (10-11-06).
Low so far: 1,2663 (27-10-06).

NEW LEVELS:

EURUSD, as long as it keeps closing (hourly) above 1,2840, next will be 1,2928 and then 1,3133 and last 1,3180.
