| volume indicator date 06/25 hi , time 21.44 gmt, 04.44 morning jakarta time U.S market closed, volume calculation base on 06/24 as follows : i read promising volume for usd/jpy bigger than other currencies, action price at 117.90 few at 118.10, compare with chart, my choise for usd/jpy sell at 117.90 action price for eur/usd at 1.1480, 1.1495 & 1.1505, almost same volume at that level with average number. compare with chart it's look like eur/usd will resume falling down, but if i choose volume indicator alone i choose buy eur/usd, as i said this volume show me average number, participants not sure as well. so i compare eur/usd with usd/chf. good volume at 1.3300 & huge at 1.3290, i read this is sell signal, my choise sell usd/chf at 1.3290 and buy eur/usd at 1.1505 i think for gbp/usd more complicated, action price at 1.6600 & 1.6625 with average volume, compare with chart it's look like falling down as well, but same like eur/usd, i choose buy gbp/usd at 1.6615 as usual my target 50pips before U.S market open, stop will be depend our diclipine, hope profit for you all regards, eka sutikna |

| I have been follwoing the volume trades and they have been some great calls. It seems there is a lot of ineterest in how he calculates the volume. I don't know if this is how he does it or not, but if you look at the levels he mentions, just look at the charts. Try 240 min. and go back a month. Most anaylsts look at where the market is trading or where it has traded. Try looking at where it isn't trading or where it hasn't traded. Volume can be measured in the amount of time the market trades a one price. A low volume area..like 11480 or 11790/11810 act as support or resistance. Markets tend to trade away from or through these levels. 11480 is a good example. look at the 240 min bar. Going back 1 month, the low of the bar that started the run up was 11480ish. the level was also a low volume trading area through may 2. Its a level where money had come into the market and can be expected to come in again at that level. Basically, its a level that the market has traded at but didn't use. some of the best trades are diconnects-reconnect, where you have a high volume trading range, a break out of it, small consolidation and then reconnect into the previous range. sort of a failed break or island top/bottom. the low volume level would be the top or bottom of the range. Once again, i have no idea if this is how he calculates the levels or not. anyway, hope this helps anyway. |
