How about that:

Hiroshi Watanabe, head of the Ministry of Finance's international bureau, yesterday said Japan may sell euros jointly with the ECB if asked. "We don't rule out that possibility,'' Watanabe said yesterday in Tokyo. ``It's an issue Europe will decide, and it's also an issue whether they will ask for it.''

My opinion is that ECB will never ask BoJ to sell Euros! BoJ´s Yens selling is indeed well succeeded in holding back large bets against the USDJPY pair as the cause a short squeeze triggering a lot of stop losses (and a lot of pain)! They do not try to move the price, they actually create an extra risk into the USDJPY pair. However, selling Euros? Is that feasable? In what extent? Do anyone has an opinion on that?
