| Why is it that on the release of a consumer confidence figures as follow: "Those expecting business conditions to improve fell to 17.8% from 19.3% in March, while consumers looking for conditions to worsen rose to 9.7% from 8.2%. The outlook for the job market also softened up in April, with the percentage expecting more jobs available slipping to 14.2% from 15.1%, while seeing fewer jobs rose to 18.0% vs 15.8%. On the income side, the proportion of consumers seeing an improvement over the next 6 mths slipped to 16.3% from 17.2% last month." the USD still gained ground? As I read this it seems to be bad data for the USD. |

| Re: Pessimistic US Consumer confidence - USD Gain Perhaps those numbers, although negative, are not as negative as they thought it would be. Just go to show that it's usually better to wait until after the spike to enter your trade. |
