Re: Which currency to hold your capital in?

I keep my currency in American Dollars, as I am an American. I have more confidence in it, than in anything else.

i usually like US dollar to be the major part of my capital but now i started keeping euros aswell. Especially after keeping the current currency market status in mind.

Re: Which currency to hold your capital in?

The dollar is losing its value gradualy. Last year nobody expected that we will be trading in 1.3-1.35 range. It will not be a big surprise to see 1.4 withing few months

Re: Which currency to hold your capital in?

im from dubai, local currency is dirhams and we are pegged to the dollar. So, in effect our currency is USD.

we are trend followers. we make money when the currencies make moves, good moves. its more like long term investing in the trends.

our clients invest with us in dollars & we keep it in dollars.

and fundamentally, US is the biggest economy in the world, followed by the euro zone. so either the 2 is a good idea.
