I know the MT4 API is not readily available, but if one asks one's broker, it may be given. I'm not discussing obtaining the API for Metatrader4, but would like to know from those developers who have obtained it if they have successfully used it. ie, have you obtained ticket information from a demo/real account (of your own), gotten quotes successfully, made any trades through the API, any other functionality that was available through MT3's API?

I have not heard anything more, except rumors that at least one broker is trying to get MetaQuotes to supply an API for their clients. But until that is made public, I cannot give details.
