    I do not think your wireless connection has anything to with it. The problem is with your broker. Notice it only happens at news time… that should tell you something.

    Frankly speaking, it is not just about laptop to get high speed, it is a lot contribution of the broker as well. If their servers are high quality then you can be fine even with cheap laptop. However, if you are not having broker with that type of servers and also your laptop is not all that good, then it creates a lot of problems. But I certainly feel broker contributes more in this matter.

    No, I never prefer trading from outside. As I feel uncomfortable and for trading, I want to have calm atmosphere. I can’t concentrate if I trade from a noisy place.

    As per laptop, I don’t think it makes a huge difference, but internet speed makes a huge difference. Plus broker too needs to be good instead of low grade one.

    I am currently using a very much cheap laptop. I mean, at least it is not to a standard that I see many other uses, but still, it just works fine for me. I use it for studies and also for trading.

    I think the internet is a more crucial thing, so if we have a good internet service provider then I don’t think the laptop is the point of debate at all. Of course, broker too is important.

    That is a very much incorrect thing to do McCoy; I don’t think you are ever going to become a serious trader with that kind of approach. You need to have a good Laptop and solid internet connection. I believe these 2 things are MUST, if you compromise on these things, then you are just not going to achieve your potential. I have the BEST possible laptop and very sold internet, it enables me to trade smoothly without worry.
